While everyone on Twitter has been talking about how the opening ceremony of IPL 8 was disappointing, Ms Sharma on the other hand has a different perspective…

Anushka Sharma, Shahid Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar and Hrithik Roshan performed at the opening ceremony of Indian Premier League season 8. The starry event was also hosted by a Bollywood bigwig. Yes, I am talking about Saif Ali Khan. Though all the B-townies tried their best to add glamour and Bollywood tadka to this cricketing event, they failed miserably and how. And that has been the topic of discussion on social media since last night. However, Virat Kolhi’s ladylove thinks otherwise. The leggy beauty, who is riding high on the success of her critically acclaimed film NH10, posted a video of hers on Facebook late last night after she finished performing at the Salt Lake stadium, Kolkata. In the video, the actress-producer has spoken about her act and what did she say?

Well, Anushka says in the video that her performance turned out to be great and even the audience at the stadium was great. She also mentions that though it rained a little, it didn’t deter them from performing because the show must go on. 

While I agree with the second part of Anushka’s statement, I don’t think the first part of it is quite correct. I saw the opening ceremony of IPL 8 and Anushka’s act was absolutely thanda from the word go. Though Ms Sharma didn’t fumble like Sasha did while performing, her act was neither energetic nor entertaining. And I am sure most of you will agree with me on this. However, there is one person who I think may agree with Anushka. Any guesses who I am talking?
