Result of Rajasthan Royals vs King XI Punjab Match 10 April 2015 IPL

With the marvelous performance made by James Faulkner from Rajasthan Royals, it was an easy win for the 2008 IPL champion in this season against Kings XI Punjab by 26 runs. He played a splendid innings of 46 runs and also took 3 wickets to finish the match to his team’s side.

Playing first, Rajasthan Royals played for 162 off 7 wickets in decided 20 overs and in reply to that, Kings XI Punjab managed to score only 136 runs and they lost 8 wickets. Allrounder James Faulkner played his innings in the last 33 balls of the game and managed to get 2 fours and 3 sixes in his cracking innings. With this, Rajasthan Royals managed to get a prestigious score. In reply to that Kings XI Punjab’s batting order was disturbed from the beginning when blasting opener Virendra Sehwag along with middle order batsmen Riddhiman Saha, Glenn Maxwell and others went out at early stage of game. Kings XI Punjab won the toss and elected to field first and this decision of them went right for the first 10 overs but after that Rajasthan Royals managed to put the scoreboard running with their tailenders who played a major role in getting team a big total.

Along with James Faulkner, debutant Deepak Dhooda also played his part beautifully and scored 30 runs of 15 balls to provide a healthy beginning to his IPL career along with a comprehensive start to Rajasthan Royals in this Pepsi IPL.
